Conflict‑Free Minerals Policy
Shanghai W‑Ibeda Technology Group Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries commit to refraining from sourcing and using metals originating from armed‑conflict zones or illegal‑mining activities, commonly known as conflict minerals.
All suppliers are required to investigate the origin of metals including Gold (Au), Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn) and Tungsten (W) contained in their products and verify their supply‑chain sources. Suppliers shall fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities and are prohibited from procuring conflict minerals originating from conflict‑affected regions.
Suppliers shall refuse to adopt conflict‑mineral‑related raw‑materials and submit a letter‑of‑commitment for compliance. Suppliers are also obligated to cascade down this requirement to their own suppliers throughout the supply‑chain.
Definition of Conflict Minerals
Conflict minerals refer to minerals sourced from the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighbouring countries, including the DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya. The covered metals are Gold (Au), Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn) and Tungsten (W).
